Job vacancy Public Works Director

We are looking for profiles and CVs of Public works Directors that we will send to our large account customers for their future recruitment needs.

Duties:

• Supervise, plan, direct and administer the operations of the Public Works Department ;
• Oversee contract administration for all public works services ;
• Supervise and evaluate Public Works personnel ;
• Prepare and present accurate and reliable reports containing findings and recommendations ;
• Attend council meetings, workshops and other meetings ;
• Oversee the financial aspects of the Public Works Department operations ;
• Recommend and administer policies, goals, and procedures ;
• Read plans, and observe and evaluate job sites ;
• Plan, organize, direct and control public works functions.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Public Administration or a related field ;
• 7 years of general experience in public works or related area ;
• Strong management and administrative ;
• Excellent communicator ;
• Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
