I take pleasure in introducing our company to you. We are an environmental company that specializes in the hire of skips, portable toilets and refuse removal. Our company is based on very sound service principals and if you are scheduled in for a service on a particular date, your service will be undertaken. We run a fleet of four vehicles that we own, in addition to having the back up of a major vehicle company with 25 other vehicles. This company also runs a private mechanical workshop ensuring that our vehicles can be maintained and fixed 24 hours a day. Vehicle reliability and back up are seldom considerations that people make when selecting which company to contract for their waste removal. The distance to and from the Gamodubu landfill site is putting huge strain on the present vehicles that company’s own and we are starting to see many clients left in the lurch due to mechanical breakdowns that render waste removal companies unable to fulfill their obligations to their clients .
Our company is a registered and licensed waste carrier, in terms of the Waste Management Act of 1988. We are therefore regularly audited and checked by the Department of Waste Management and Pollution Control. In terms of this waste management act it is our company’s responsibility to ensure that we implement and maintain standards as set out in the waste management act. Please note that any vehicle that carries waste in any form whatsoever, including private vehicles, must be licensed by the Department of Waste Management and Pollution control. Due to cost restraints companies are contracting the services of unregistered carriers to remove their waste. Please do not do this as the council and Department of Waste Management will hold your company liable and will levy the fine directly to you. Once you have received a fine, you can expect regular visits from the various departments – the moral of the story “rather pay a little more and get the job done properly, by registered carriers – it will cost you less in the long run”.
