Wilderness Holdings is a collective of ecotourism companies, such as Wilderness Safaris and Governors’ Camp Collection, that use responsible tourism practices to create sustainable conservation economies in Africa. These companies offer safaris and camps in some of Africa's most picturesque wildlife and wilderness areas spanning seven countries: Botswana, Kenya, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe. In addition to preserving the environment, Wilderness Holdings also seeks to improve the lives of people in these areas. To achieve this, the company provides financial support to its philanthropic partners, Children in the Wilderness and the Wilderness Wildlife Trust, which have had a major impact on nature-based tourism in southern Africa.
