Enjoy fitness, health and self-defence whilst learning the basics of the arts of Karate, Kung fu and Capoeira.
and including Resistance Stretching, Qigong, Yoga, and functional exercises.

Combining the arts of Japan, China and Brazil in unique ways with yoga, qigong, resistance stretching and functional exercises, these classes bring a holistic combination of physical movements, balanced with mental focus and intentional breathing,  that bring about the union of the whole body, mind, emotions and spirit, and creates fitness, health and self-defence skills.

In these classes,  you will learn the basic techniques of the martial arts, including short forms. Through the practice of kicks, punches and strikes, which are ultimately meant only for self defence, and through the forms, you will gain a whole body awareness, and will achieve fitness, cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, agility, coordination, awareness of the environment, clarity, focus, determination, self-defence techniques and many other benefits.

Mondays, Wednesdays and most Fridays
5:30 to 6:30 pm

Prices
Low income participants
P 100 for 10 classes

Middle income participants
P 200 for 10 classes

Higher income participants
P 450 for 10 classes

These martial arts classes are part of a community offering from Nancy, so the cost is much lower than normal for those participants who are on the lower scale of income.
If you are receiving an income that enables you to pay the higher class price, then your honesty will encourage you to pay the higher price.
This system is also based on paying for classes, rather than the month, as we all know too well how something comes up and we can miss our class. Therefore, you pay for an amount of classes, and it is up to you to come as often as you can. Your ‘subscription’ expires after 2 months.
