The Boro channels and Okavango Delta itself are renowned for diverse and unique landscapes, vegetation and wildlife. Game and landscapes on these drainage systems can only be viewed using boats and mokoro. The flood plains, lagoons and Okavango fringing forest present diverse habitats that support a large variety of game birds and waterfowls. The Boro and Thamalakane rivers have since 2010 been receiving substantial floods allowing for conduct of morning and sun set boat cruises. It’s the intention of Mogwafatshe Expeditions (PTY) LTD to take you on a boat cruise or mokoro cruise as it offers an alternative way of viewing game, aquatic vegetation, water birds and is capable of going to places that vehicles are not able to go to. Mokoro is the most environmental friendly way of viewing game in the Okavango Delta. There are milliards of lagoons capable of offering the discerning and avid angler an opportunity for fishing.
