BOTSWANA’S SECRET SHOW
A Kwando Nxai Pan& Meno A Kwena Special
As one of the most unique ecosystems on earth, visiting the Okavango Delta is certainly the experience of a lifetime. Most, however, neglect the vast desert regions of Botswana.

Nxai Pan and the Boteti River host Botswana’s best-kept secret - the longest land migration of animals in southern Africa.

Zebras, by the thousands, throng the salt pans and the dry desert scrubland in the Makgadikgadi Park with the first rains that fall each year.

The onset of the summer rains bring new grass growth, heralding a migratory journey for up to 30,000 zebras into Nxai Pan. This period also marks the birth of hundreds of baby zebra foals - a most precious sight to behold.

As the dry Southern Hemispheric winter sets in, the herds move on to the Boteti River, which then becomes a precious source of water during this period. The zebras spend the months blissfully grazing along its banks, from April/May to November.

Combined with the majestic Baines’ Baobabs, the communities of the Boteti and Nxai Pan’s predators, this all makes for a unforgettable experience.
This special 4 night package is an opportunity to view this fantastic spectacle at a (year-round) fixed price at

Kwando’s Nxai Pan Camp and Meno A Kwena along the Boteti River.
