Krupa Enterprises (Pty) Ltd is a company duly incorporated under Botswana laws trading as A-One Hardware & Electrical (large-scale hardware and building materials retailer) and A-One Concrete Products (manufacturing) based in the copper\/nickel mining town of Selebi Phikwe. The company seeks to employ a Senior Driver (Extra Heavy Duty Driver).

Job Profile

• Reporting any mechanical or electrical faults to management for repairs Liaising with the company's heavy mechanics in all repairs and maintenance Driving the truck and trailers to designated destination to load the company goods and offload as instructed (observing road safety regulations)
• Supervising all the company drivers
• Ensuring that all the vehicle permits are valid at all time
• Carrying out minor vehicle repairs and maintenance such as tyre replacements
• Cooperating with other road users and law enforcement officers while on the road

Key competencies

• Ability to work long hours Physically and mentally fit
• Ability to speak other foreign languages
• Knowledge of Southern African countries and places (passport proof)
• Ability to follow instructions
• Auto mechanical understanding Sobriety
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership and team work

Position requirements

• Valid PrDP Extra Heavy Duty license (Botswana and allowed internationally)
• 5-10 years experience in a similar position (preferably in a similar industry) Familiarity with hardware and building materials suppliers in the region
