Job vacancy Coded Orbital Welder / Pipe Fitter

Gaborone based mechanical services company is looking for (one position)

CODED ORBITAL WELDER / PIPE FITTER

with the following experience and qualifications:

• Able to fabricate and weld especially stainless steel piping using programmable machine.
• Must be able to read and interpret design installation drawings
• Capable of operating orbital welding machines (the XXAIRS welding machine from France added advantage)
• Able to create weld programmes for different seizes of pipes
• Ability to trouble shoot orbital operational errors and rectify
• Maintenance of orbital machine and other welding equipment
• Able to test and train subordinates.
• Two years in advanced orbital welding and 10 years in general welding and fabrication
• Trade tested / Coded Welder qualifications
• Certificate for Operator / programmer of Orbital welding machine.
• Prepared to work anywhere in Botswana
