New vacancy - open to all applications Overview of role Responsibilities will include the development of the strategic human resource plan and directing all people-functions within the organisation. Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, you will provide advice on areas of Organisational Development, Talent Management and Succession, Change Management, Employee Relations, Staff Welfare, and other related functions and execute effective Human Capital Management, Training, Recruitment and Selection, Remuneration Management, and Industrial Relations.   • Direct needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of BNPC
  • Identify, own and manage risks arising from strategic and operational organisational development and learning and development plans, projects and initiatives
  • Conduct needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance
  • Make assessments of effectiveness of training in terms of employee accomplishments and performance
  • Undertake research on change management interventions and recommend suitable transformation methodologies for building and sustaining high performance and achievement culture in BNPC
  • Support and coach the management team on all people leadership matters, including business change and transformation
  • Form strong relationships with the management team to be able to challenge and coach in a high performance environment
  • Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities, development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales
  • Liaise with Directors and Managers to understand their HR requirements and ensure they are fully informed of the corporate HR strategy
  • Manage all recruitment needs for BNPC, including implementing and continually developing a robust recruitment process
  • Work with managers to help develop promotion and retention strategies for existing employees
  • Manage the consultative process between Management/Staff Association(s) to enable the creation of a positive working environment
  • Manage all staff members within the department in order to achieve departmental objectives and targets
  • Identify, assess, manage and monitor key risks likely to impact the department
Requirements, Education and Experience
  • Masters Degree in Psychology Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, Human Resources or any related field
  • At least 10 years relevant experience, of which 3 years should be acquired at a managerial level
  • Experience working in an unionised environment
  • Membership to a professional institution will be an added advantage
