New vacancy - open to all applications Overview of role Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing the strategic planning process at BNPC. The incumbent will provide input into the strategic planning process through trend analysis, scenario planning and collecting other data relevant to the process. Job description
  • Responsible for managing risk, tracking, monitoring, and evaluating delivery of the strategy and projects
  • Establish and communicate risk management vision across the organization
  • Coordinate with the Internal Audit Department to achieve desired performance of risk management and implement appropriate risk reporting to the Audit Committee and CEO
  • Develop an operational framework for monitoring and quality assurance across the Centre consisting of the required process, standards, tools and templates
  • Monitor and report on BNPC projects and follow up on projects to ensure visibility on all operational projects underway, progress, interdependencies and impact/ business benefit realisation thereof
  • Proactively identify and monitor potential risks/ challenges to business continuity and implement contingency plans
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the development of mitigating plans in line with the requisite quality standards and business excellence models
  • Leading the change management activities within a structured process framework
  • Evaluating the risk of change and providing actionable guidelines on reducing the impact
  • Designing the strategic approach to managing change and support operations that fall within the domain of change management
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the decisions and performance related to the change request
  • Manage all consultants and other staff members within the department in order to achieve departmental objectives and targets
  • Ensure that direct reports have the right resources, skills, tools, equipment, attitude, professionalism and information to successfully execute on their responsibilities
  • Actively liaise with Industry Experts and Market Analysts to conduct environmental scanning for the Centre
  • Build and maintain collaborative and cohesive relationships with centre's internal stakeholders
  • Support monitoring and evaluation of the effects and impact of Programmes & Projects
Requirements, Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Business Management, Commerce, Strategy or any related field
  • At least 8 years experience, of which 3 years must have been in managerial role
  • Project Management Accreditation e.g. PRINCE 2, APM Accreditation is required
