Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in HR Management, Business or equivalent
  • Three (3) years in HR administration
  • HR administration, process and best practice.
  • Excellent Computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Knowledge of Botswana Labour Laws
  • Good interpersonal skills
Key Responsibility Areas
  • Ensures that all employee records are accurate and up to date
  • Responsible for opening and administering employee personnel files
  • Filing all employee documents (transfers, confirmations, promotions, leave etc.)
  • Oversees the secure storage of inactive personal files (Archived files)
  • Perform all relevant transactions related to the administration of payroll
  • Keep updated with any changes regarding payroll parameters and tax legislation
  • Liaise with relevant institutions regarding, Medical Aid, Pension fund and insurances
  • Employee Contracts Management
    • Ensures timely renewals of contracts
    • Ensures timely termination of non-contracts renewals
  • Ensures that all employees have up-to date job descriptions
  • Administration of employee resignations/terminations
  • Annual Distribution of Employee documents
    • Pension Statements
    • Tax Certificates
    • Letters from Medical Aids
    • Annual Increment letters
    • Annual Bonus letters
