Engineer

Admin work including preparing technical and commercial proposals/bids for projects
• Attending site visits and clarification meetings with the client
• Pricing and cost estimate preparation for all civil works/Bids
• Preparing Quality assurance plan for construction tenders
• Preparing a detailed methodology statement for projects and Programme of works using MS
office project
• Ensuring that bids meet the compliance requirements as per client’s request
• Obtaining factored/sub supplier costs of the required products and services
• Being a designated contact person for tenders prepared

Material testing (CBR tests, MODD, material grading, Plasticity index, liquid limit and grading
modulus).
• Making concrete cubes and determination of the strength of the concrete cubes.
• DCP test at the site and analyzing the results using the DCP analysis software.
• Foundation test under the supervision of the senior geotechnical engineer.
• Determination of aggregate crushing value, flakiness index of aggregates, average least
dimension of aggregates.
• Actively participated in Troxler field density test, apparent relative density test and concrete
core test.
• Testing the strength of walls, beams and slabs through Schmidt hammer test.
