- Monthly detailed reconciliations of ongoing capital projects
- Reconciliation of capital projects to different stakeholders
- Gather and monitor financial data
- Manage tax payments
- Prepare for internal audits and external audits
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
- Analyze financial trends
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Manages and reconcile bank accounts
- Monitoring of accounts receivable and general ledger activities covering all revenue accounts to ensure that the University receives all payments that are due from its client.
- Overseeing the billing department activities to ensure that clients are notified promptly of any revenues owed to the university
- Management of all University donor funded project
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, income and expenditures incurred by projects.
- Compile relevant financial reports and analysis requested by donors and management.
- Perform regular monitoring of project actual expenditure against budget and report potential overruns to the Project Investigator
- Liaising with external auditors and providing relevant information for audit
- Management of Fixed Asset Register, i.e. verifying and capturing assets, disposal, depreciation
- Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts, i.e. Bank reconciliations, fixed asset grant, fixed assets movement, student debtors
- Accounts Receivables and Payables maintenance
