Civil Engineer

At this company I was an English Language teacher for students at the ages of 3-12.
I was mainly tasked to teach students how to read, write and speak English in a coherent and successful comprehensive manner as best as I can. In this role I provided each classroom with a unique diverse curriculum and put effort to contributing positive ethos as the school required, putting students first by demonstrating energy, vision, creativity and inspiring healthy participation in the classroom.

From this experience I learnt to master patience, team work, effective time management skills, flexibility and adaptability.

Duties include:
 Teaching English Language & Literature from KS3, KS4 and Entry level.
 Helping pupils to define and identify different types of verbs.
 Tailoring English teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students.
 Planning, preparing and delivering lessons to a range of English classes.
 Conducting up to 5 classes in one day.
 Recording and monitoring a students’ attendance.
 Marking work and giving appropriate feedback to pupils.
 Devising and writing new curriculum materials.
 Preparing pupils for external examinations, such as GCSE and A-level.
 Managing pupils’ behaviour in the classroom and on school premises.
 Administrating examinations and preparing coursework for students and the class.
 Preparing teaching material based on the students age and skills
 Give evaluation tests and practice runs to improve confidence
