IT Graduate

I was enrolled in an attachment during my academic third year at Lentsweletau Subordinate Landboard from August 7th to November 6th 2017 as an Information Technology Officer.

Below are some of the duties I covered:
· Assembling computers

· Capturing & updating data into the system

· Troubleshooting computers and network

· Assigning IP Addresses

· Assisting supervisor in routine computing work

· Handling enquiries and complaints made in person or telephone

· Create and edit documents using Microsoft applications (word, excel & power point)

· Retrieving lost data

· Connecting and configuring printers

I am currently enrolled in an internship programme in Kweneng North Sub District Crop Production Office as an Information Technology Officer since May 13th 2019. I was trained at Ministry of Agricultural Development & Food Security Headquarters for two weeks to further my experience.

Most of my duties are as follows:
· Updating and troubleshooting windows operating system

· Updating and troubleshooting Microsoft Applications

· Set up equipment for new users and employees

· Ensure system optimization for all technology resources

· Evaluate connectivity issues, equipment, and software and hardware

· Assist with the design, implementation, and support of new software and features

· Administer network and data security, including directory, group policy, firewalls, virus protection, and email security

· Perform data backups to ensure all office work is saved
