    Human Resource Specialist
    Compiling & submitting applications for work and residence permits, from Department of Mines to Department of Labour & Immigration for expatriates on the project.
    I was as well responsible for Training and Development of the Fluor Botswana employees as far as CEEP (Citizen Economic Empowerment Policy) is concerned.
    Recruitment and selection process for the local employees and Contract of employment.
    Job descriptions, grading and evaluation of the positions.
    Coordinate accommodation and records management of employees.
    Ensuring legal compliance and coordinate development of employees.
    IR Policy formulation and Interprets and advices employees on HR policies and procedures.
    Advice management and employees on Botswana Labour Law.
    Adherence and compliance with Debswana Procedures,Policies and Standards in regards to Orapa, Letlhakane & Damtshaa Mines operations, for FRD Project.

    Interprets and advice employees on Botswana Employment Act & other HR related policies and procedures.
    Arranging and hosting Vendors and Visitors coming to assist the project (Arranging their Mine access, medical exemptions & inductions.
    Supervise and manage Fluor's sub- contractors on the HR/IR issues, (Kalcon, Gear Mining Construction, SMEI Projects & Aveng GLTA).

    Human Resources Administrator
    Promoted to a position of an HR Administrator on 01 September 2016.
    Training and Development Unit
    Here I was tasked with developing a training and development policy and unit. 10 trainees were enrolled, of which they ended up graduating as Semi skilled Welders. This was to tackle the manpower plan of training welders in the country.

    Doing all the administrative duties on site for the company in regards to the Letlhakane Mine Tailings Treatment Project.
    Preparing and submitting Visas, Work and Residence Permits for our expatriates employees as per the Botswana Laws.
    Assist with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office.
    Update and maintain employee files in accordance with company policy, state and labour law
    Prepare and process termination & new hire paperwork
    Liaise with Mobility/Relocation departments, as required.
    Effectively managing and maintaining established records; compiling Human Resource statistical reports.
    Coordinating organisation development program, and training initiative.
    Succession planning, especially skill transfer from expatriates to locals.
    One key function I was tasked with was of running a Training and Development Unit. Had a group of 10 trainees which were enrolled in the training and development program.
    Job descriptions analysis and manpower planning, and organisational chart.
    Ensuring compliance on labour Laws as far as Botswana Employment Act and Safety, Health and Environment.
    Coordination of housing management and accommodation arrangements for on-camp employees.
    Working closely with Line Managers to ensure adherence to the Company policy by all employees.
    Mainly dealing with the Timesheets & Salary queries for all employees while liaising with the Payroll department in Johannesburg, Head Office and reporting to the Cost Administrator of the project.
