Reviews of Wimpy - Gaborone

BAD BAD BAD. All Wimpys in Gaborone are BAD. I tried them and each time I had a complaint. Sour cream/milk in Ice Cream. Poorly made espressos drinks. Returned food multiple times. I kept forgiving and coming back as managers listened to my grievances. Now I won't bother going back. BAD.

I am a young hospitality student and had most probably the worst lunch ever this afternoon when my mother and i decided to visit Wimpy at riverwalk.I am usually not the type to be picky or fussy with food as i have experienced working in a resturant as a waitress and assistant chef therfore i know how difficult it is. i ordered my usual the sweet chillie chicken wrap and my mother took a chance and tried it too.To my surprise the wrap on the menu looked amazing and mouth watering compared to the dull plain half wraped wrap we recieved.I chose to ignore the terrible sight until i noticed that there was no salad in our wrap. we sent both or dishes back and expected a better dish. I wish i had kept the first wraps as the second ones were just as dull and dry looking,the salad looked like grated cabbage and the chicken had a wiered taste. to make it worse they forgot the sweet chillie sauce.If it wasnt for my hunger i would have simply left.I was truely highly dissapointed,but the service did try make up for it.
